Terri D. Whitely Eleven Twenty-Eight Scholarship

The late Terri D. Whitely has been a long-standing New Albany, MS community leader with a heart for the people. She was a member of Golden Gate Church. However, her efforts extended beyond those walls. She spearheaded community programs to honor local leaders. She organized programs to mentor the youth. She led efforts to provide meals and gifts to community residents during the holiday season. She was the president of the M.A.A.I. Evangelist Missionary Class of 2019. This scholarship honors her memory and continues her legacy. Her earthly labor ceased on November 28, 2022 (her birthday). This date is the significance of the scholarship name and amount. The amount of $1,128.00 will be awarded on January 28, 2024.
